The fantastic heritage of the children of God.

If you are born from God, then you are holy because from the Holy God only holy can be born and the Holy Spirit is in you. The Spirit of God who in you gives you the righteousness and holiness of God.

We must fully rely on God who provides us salvation, changes us by the action of His grace, transforms us and makes us like Jesus Christ, we are righteous because God made us righteous in Christ.

So, live according to who you are and forget who you were in the past because you are a new creature of God with the qualities that God has given you. The old thing passed away for you and the things that your Heavenly Father prepared for you have come. You are not a slave of sin anymore, you’re holy, therefore, live as holy, destroying all the sin in your life.

If you are born from God, then you are His child and a heir of His kingdom, not just the planet Earth but His kingdom; according to the scientists there are more than 100 billion galaxies in the universe and in each of them there are more than 100 billion stars like the Sun plus the countless number of planets and all this is a part of God's kingdom plus the things that are hidden from people. Do you like your heritage?

Hebrews 2:5-8
5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

The phrase: "and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet”speaks about the whole creation of God and not only about the planet Earth.

People are trying to find an intelligent life and are looking for planets that are similar to Earth in terms of habitat conditions but they do not take into account the existence of the spiritual world i.e. the world of spiritual beings such as angels, and if God gave the universe as a heritage to His children, then His children will dominate the universe and the fantasies about some green men from other planets are just nonsense.

For instance, in the body that you have now you cannot be on Venus without a spacesuit but if God gives you another body will you be able to go there? Here’s an example:

Revelation 1:14-15
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

The Bible says that the children of God will receive a new eternal body that is not subject to corruption, the same body as our risen Lord Jesus Christ has and this body will have fantastic characteristics and you in this body will have fantastic abilities about which you do not even dream.

Philippians 3:20-21
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

1 Corinthians 15:40-53
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

In the exercise of His will, God brought us forth by the word of truth so that we can be the most important among all His creatures and now we have His Spirit and are waiting for our complete redemption and putting on the glory of the sons of God in Christ Jesus.

Can you see the future that awaits you as sons and daughters of God who will be clothed in the glory of the Father???

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

And you do not want to change this legacy with a plate of lentil stew like Esau did, do you? What in this sinful world can be compared to the greatest legacy that God wants to give you?

Many people know Rudyard Kipling's fairy tale "The Jungle Book" about the boy Mowgli who when he was little got in a pack of wolves and was brought up by animals without any contact with people, having been brought up in the animal pack formed his thinking and although in fact he was a fully functioning person the environment that influenced him gave him thinking of an animal.

The same happens to some born again believers and though in fact they are God's children and heirs and saints but their thinking does not always accept these truths and they often identify themselves with anyone but with the holy children of God and as a result they live according to the thinking that they received about themselves like that Mowgli who considered himself a wolf.

The born-again person suffers from the confrontation of two types of thinking in him, the first thinking is forced up by the sinful world around him and the second one comes from God. One thinking or "wisdom" is earthly, natural or demonic that is imposed by demons or evil spirits and the second thinking comes from the Spirit of God and this is a spiritual wisdom and a spiritual type of thinking. You alone decide what to believe, and you will become what you believe, after all. Your faith will determine the reality you will find yourself in.

According to the Word of God, you are His child and have His Spirit and His nature and God has granted you a great inheritance. Everything you see in the world around you now will be destroyed, God will destroy the sinful world with all its political systems, philosophies, worldviews and ways of thinking and He’ll establish His eternal kingdom as it is written:

1 John 2:15-17
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Different sources thoughts are bombing our minds and our objective is to be led by God. You walk in faith when you receive only what comes from God. If you are double minded then God cannot bless you or fulfill His promises in your life because one day you believe in His promises, another day you believe in something else that is contrary to His Word and His promises.

James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
James 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

The reason why we have the formal Christianity, carnal behavior, addictions, frustration, lack of freedom, depression and fears is not in the absence of faith, but in the absence of constancy and solely faith in the word of God.

If you believe in the Word of God and what He says about you, the grace of God will work and act in your life and God will bring you to the end and lead you to the perfection in Christ and you will grow to the stature of the fulness of Christ.

God brought us forth and gave us His Spirit and only through the presence and action of the God's Spirit can we be righteous and only through His presence and the action all sinful things, which are trying to manifest in us, are destroyed. It is through the Spirit all the carnal deeds are mortified. The Holy Spirit is your teacher who reveals to you the complete truth and gives you the full light so that you can see your actual state.

If today you hear the Word from the Lord, then do not withered your heart but receive it by faith and live and act according to this Word and do not be like the Israelites to whom the Word of God was also spoken but they did not believe in this Word and therefore were constantly murmuring and disobeying.

The God who promised to bring the Israelites into the promised land was angry with them for not believing in His faithfulness and ability to do what He had promised and the unbelieving generation died in the desert and did not receive what God had promised and only the new generation was brought into the land that He had promised.

This is an example and an image for us to learn to abide in faith in order to receive what is promised by God the Father who has loved us and granted a great inheritance and eternal life in Christ. Not only God brought the believing Israelites into the promised land not by their strength and abilities, but by His strength and abilities, but also, He can lead you into the great heritage, the key is that you have to trust Him completely.

Enter into God's rest because God has already completed everything for you and you are already seated in Christ in the heavenly places, is there anything impossible for God?
