The Balaam teaching and the deeds of the Nicolaitans, or the abomination which was applyed to the church.

In the book of Revelation we read about two churches, the church in Ephesus and the church in Pergamum, and both of these churches were struck by the teaching and the deeds of the Nicolaitans, and God says that He hates this teaching.

Revelation 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

In what way is this doctrine and this heresy expressed?

According to the context of the second chapter of the book of Revelation, the teaching of the Nicolaitans is directly connected with the teaching of Balaam and if we find out what the doctrine of Balaam is, we will understand what the doctrine and deeds of the Nicolaitans are.

Balaam was known as a seer and he did not belong to the people of God, i.e. the people of Israel, and he lived in Pethor. Balaam could receive information from God and he could share this information with the others so he became famous because of his exact prophesies foretelling either a blessing or a curse to one or another nation and many peoples around were aware of his existence and of his exact prophecies. So was Balak the king of Moab who started the war against the people of Israel and wanted to conquer them and thought, that if the seer cursed them, it would secure his victory.

Numbers 22:5 He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:
6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they aretoo mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
7 And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.

Although King Balak offered great money to Balaam for cursing the people of God, Balaam could not curse them because when Balaam began to seek God, God forbade him to curse the people of Israel and Balaam, repeating the words of God spoke a blessing onto the people of Israel, this story you can read in the book Numbers of Chapter 22-24.

But the thing is that Balaam still did great harm to Israel, he could not curse the people of Israel, but gave Balak very important advice how to defeat the people of Israel.

This is what Balaam taught Balak:

Rev. 2.14 who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel

Balaam taught Balak how to defeat Israel and for that Israel had to fall into sin and then God's favor and protection would depart from Israel and Israel could be defeated. And Balak followed the advice of Balaam and sent prostitutes to the people of Israel, who seduced the men of Israel, and made them commit fornication and then coaxed them to worship the pagan gods i.e. made them idolaters.

Fornication and idolatry, this is what the people of Israel tried to be defeated with.

Numbers 31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Numbers 25:1 And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.
2 And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
4 And the LORD said unto Moses, take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
5 And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, slay ye everyone his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.
6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
10 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

The teaching of Balaam is a way to defeat the people of God and this doctrine allows the sin of fornication or idolatry or any other sin in the people of God.

And the doctrine of the Nicolaitans is connected with the teaching of Balaam and they are very similar fundamentally and the only difference is that the teaching of Balaam is something that comes from outside to the people of God because Balaam did not belong to the people of God and the teaching of the Nicolaitans is a doctrine that has already been introduced in the people of God and this teaching is supported by those people who have power and influence in the people of God, i.e. in the Christian environment and in the church, it can be priests, bishops or anyone else who have power and influence. The teaching of the Nicolaitans is a doctrine accepted as a doctrine of the church and it is supported by the priesthood.

It is believed that the doctrine of the Nicolaitans received its name from the deeds of Nicholas the Antiochian who had a certain influence among Christians.

Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

The doctrine of the Nicolaitans has very deep historical roots and originates in the early church. This doctrine legalizes or admits as something normal fornication and idolatry or some other sin that the church commits on the grounds of the false doctrine accepted in this church.

A priest or a group of priests who head the church, have power and influence in it and keep to the teachings of the Nicolaitans, lead the church into sin, what is more they were giving a false explanation to those who trust them as servants of God that the sin they commit is not a sin at all or that this sin it is admissible.

And because of the deception coming from the ministers, the whole church is in sin.

And it turns out that there is a sign on the building of the church which says "Christian church" but in fact it is a temple where idols are worshiped and the teaching of Christ is mixed with idolatry and the people of God are defeated by sin through the deception of hypocrites, false teachers and false prophets who only appear to look like ministers of Christ and use Christian symbolism and partly Christian teaching to cover lies.

Their clothes of righteousness are befouled by sin and they are defeated by sin through the lies of the false teachers who entered the Christian church and occupied the key positions in it.

They broke the commandments of God and perverted His teaching.

Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Acts 21:25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

2 Peter 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
..........................
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

Revelation 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate
.

The teaching implanting idolatry in the church uses a "pious" pretext for honoring "relics" and the doctrine planting fornication uses the pretext that God loves us and knows our weak nature therefore he forgives us everything.

They convince you that if the idol secretes myrrh it is a sign of God, and if through the worshiping the idol somebody has received the healing, then worshiping idols is pleasing to God. The statue of Apollo is crying and the statue of Buddha is secreting myrrh and everyone knows that psychics can heal people too, therefore, these miracles cannot be a confirmation of the authenticity of the teaching that directly contradicts the commandment of God: " Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."

1 Corinthians 10:19 What say I then? that the idol is anything, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything?
20But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Idolatry is a direct communion with demons and behind the idols are the demons and their spiritual influence.

Another abomination is a tolerant attitude to sexual deviations in the church, I mean gays and lesbians, and the first lesbian-bishop of the Lutheran church has already appeared in Sweden.

Gerd Eva Cecilia Brunne (born March 7, 1954, Malmö) is the Bishop of the Stockholm Diocese of the Church of Sweden since November 8, 2009, an open lesbian.

Eva Brunne is not the only female clergyman in the Lutheran Church of Sweden and not the only bishop, a lesbian in the world. In 2010, the US Episcopal Church voted for Mary Glasspool to be ordained vicar bishop, after that she became Bishop John Bruno assistant, who was a head of the diocese of Los Angeles. Thus, Glasspool became the second bishop among the open homosexuals in the USA after Gene Robinson, whose ordination took place in 2003.

Everyone understands what kind of ideology is implanted by these bishops in the church, covering themselves with a pompous prate about love and tolerance.

If you made your choice and you are jealous for the purity of the teaching in the church, you begin to act exposing the teaching of the Nicolaitans, God will honor your jealousy as He honored the jealousy of Phinehas in ancient times.

Numbers 25:7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

Numbers 25:10 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

And all those who take the way of Balaam and do the deeds of the Nicolaitans, are doomed to fall under God's judgment and as the judgment of God reached Balaam for his advice so they are doomed to be judged for their deeds.

Joshua 13:22 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.

Numbers 31: 8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

Revelation 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
